Is your athlete stuck in negative thoughts? It's hindering their performance.

Your athlete's NEGATIVE thoughts show up as whining, complaining, hanging their head... this is NORMAL!
Your athlete is stuck in an EMOTIONAL STORM and they don't know what to do about it.
They just stand there and take it when the THUNDER and LIGHTNING strikes, so it should come as no surprise when they get upset, frustrated, and mad.
I'm a 2X Olympian & Mental Toughness Coach, and here's the rub: They have no shield to deflect the lightning and then we label them as SOFT.
That's RIDICULOUS. And it puts the responsibility in the WRONG place.
Every athlete I’ve worked with simply lacks
tools and NOBODY is equipping them.
And "get tougher", "get out there and be confident" are NOT tools.
The adults in the room need to STEP UP!
STOP calling them SOFT and START teaching them. You teach them every day with skills/drills/tactics.
Handling EMOTIONAL STORMS is a skill.
Why aren't you teaching that?????
Maybe it's because YOU DON'T have those skills and that's a fair point.
These skills are my SPECIALTY.
I can show you in a FREE 15-minute call. And I can show your entire team in a workshop.
What are you waiting for?
CHANGE DOESN'T TAKE TIME. IT TAKES COURAGEOUS ACTION.
