Are athletes "SOFT"? Or under-equipped?

"Athletes are SO SOFT these days." Is that true?
Here's what I think:
That label is UNFAIR.
The truth is, athletes are full of BIG feelings and few are equipped to handle them.
Sometimes these athletes choke, have a hissy fit, hide in big moments, pout on the bench, or even cry (heaven forbid!).
Then we label them as SOFT.
Really? That's all you got? That's all you can come up with?
I'm a 2x Olympian and Mental Toughness Coach and I work with athletes every day.
Here's what I've learned:
They are under-equipped to manage the EMOTIONAL STORMS sport brings.
When athletes are taught to manage these storms, they STOP letting their emotions control them and START channelling them into positive action.
They learn to HANDLE the storms instead of allowing the storms to break them.
When we encourage EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE, they learn to bounce back from setbacks and stay mentally tough, no matter what the game throws at them.
Boss of Your Thoughts Workshop is May 18th, and I will help your athletes (and YOU) learn to manage their emotions, sharpen their mindset, and build the mental toolkit they need to perform at the highest level.
This workshop is a GAME CHANGER. Click the button for details.
CHANGE DOESN'T TAKE TIME. IT TAKES COURAGEOUS ACTION.
