No Free Rides



I often hear this from athletes:

  • I want it so bad.

  • I wish I was in the starting lineup.

  • I hope we win.

I'm a 2x Olympian and Mental Toughness Coach and you know what my reply is?

Whoop. Whoop.

Wanting, wishing and hoping is average. Everyone wants it, everyone wishes and hopes for it.

Try this instead: BE. DO. HAVE.

BE willing to DO what it takes to HAVE what you want.

Start at the end and work backwards:

- What do you WANT?

- What will it TAKE?

- Are you WILLING?

That's above average.

Now it's time to get to work.

It's time to do something you have never done.
