FROM it or THROUGH it? What do High Performers do?

When your kids/athletes are practicing/training, are they intentional? Are they mindful?


How would you rate them on a scale of 1-10?


High Performers show up at practices and training sessions with the mindset of, "I'm here to get FROM IT."


They are intentional They are mindful.


Others show up with the mindset of, "I'm here to get THROUGH IT."


They go through the motions. They want it to be over.


Success isn't an accident. High Performers pay attention to their practice and training habits. Habits take them one of two directions:

  • TOWARD their Greatest Self

  • AWAY from their Greatest Self

Mental Toughness means choosing habits that take you TOWARD your Greatest Self, even when it's difficult and uncomfortable.


Mental Toughness means getting FROM IT, even on the days you don't feel like it.
